I made a Girl in the Sea themed Go Fish card deck! Actually, it’s meant to be played as Old Maid, but in this version, you want to get and keep the Girl in the Sea card. Of course you can play Go Fish, too. Or Memory if you want!
So here, I’ve decided to track my progress on the fish card designs. Along the way, most of these designs are available as original watercolor paintings in my shop.

I’m almost finished with the art for the cards. The next step for me is to bring all the little fishies into my iPad, and make digital versions of them. I might make some of the cuter fish into prints.
Then I just have to design the card backs, plop a Girl in the Sea card in there, and order a sample!
I’ll probably run this as a pre-order, since the cards are so expensive to manufacture.
I’m not sure why, but this little lobster guy might be my favorite of the series. he’s just such a happy lil guy!
